This spotting scope is amazing! The picture is super sharp even at full zoom, and the colors look bright and true. The tripod is sturdy and makes it easy to keep everything steady. Very impressed with the quality and totally worth the price!

Excellent scope though I decide to return

Until recently, all I know is binocular and telescope. Never thought there is a mid-product: spotting scope. This product is my first trial and I am stunned by the imagine quality. It is great. I have a Canon 12x36 IS binocular. Compared to it, this one has much better resolution and show much better details. Also, the price is very attractive compared to peers. After online review, I further confirm this brand is among the best budget spotting scope. The only other similar brand is Athlon. Just search the model and see the comparison videos.OK, why I still return it if it is so great. Well, it is not that it doesn't do a good job, but because I can't find a scenario that I will carry it around. Unfortunatley, I am not a hunter or bird watcher. For nature touring, I think binocular still gives better field of view (FOV) and relatively volume friendly. This one (and all its kind) requires a small tripod or put against something like a tree. It is bulky and long to a normal backpack. The only scenario I probably end of using is to look at the moon at night in my backyard. But for that purpose, I have a telescope already. Well I very much like it, I know it would sit and catch dust if I keep it.End of my story. If you need such magnification and don't mind to use tripod and bulky size, go ahead. This brand is the best of its kind. I didn't say that lightly considering the numerous times I spent on online review searching.

An excellent spotting scope

I was really surprised and impressed with the quality of this scope. I just wanted to get an inexpensive spotting scope until I could afford a more expensive one. This one works better than I expected and will probably be the only spotting scope I will buy or need. I haven't used the table tripod that came with it yet but it seems very solid. I used a sturdy camera tripod and it worked very well for me. My son and I were reading letters on a power pole about a half mile away that we guessed were 5 or 6" tall. The phone adapter works but takes time to get set up. It rotates with the zoom which was expected. After taking this to the shooting range, I was very impressed with this scope. It performed better than I expected. The view was bright and clear, focusing was quick and smooth. The tripod that comes with it is sturdy but was too tall to use on the bench from which I was shooting. I used a sturdy camera tripod and it worked out very well. 200 yard shots with a .308 Win. were easy to spot. I believe this scope would easily go out to 300 yards and possibly beyond. It's a very good value and highly recommended.

This scope when mounted on a decently smooth moving tripod can give you a steady and reliable image. The phone attachment device works very well. I used it to view the eclipse and got a very nice set of photos from it. (Use a sun filter when viewing the sun!) I also use it at the range and it works very well.

Great for my intended use!

I am not an expert on scopes or picture taking but I found this scope absolutely awesome. I was waiting for the weekend to try it on daylight conditions and even with a clouded day the image clarity and sharpness was excellent. I bought it to be used primarily for target practice at 100 to 200 yards. I am convinced it will let me see perfectly the shots point of impact without having to wait or walk to the target. The tripod that comes with the scope is strong enough for my intended occasional use at the range.

Just recently got into shooting. I go to a public range so I needed a way to see my shot groups without interrupting eveyone to walk downrange every 5 minutes. What an absolutely awesome purchase! The tripod works great, assembly is very very easy, light and portable, nothing but good things to say about this.

I bought this mainly for use at the shooting range. For the price, it delivers a nice clear image for targets out to 200 yards. You don't even need full magnification for 100 yards and under. You can easily see the hits. The only negative is the useless phone holder, but it's not a deal breaker.

Well built. Not a $500 scope but magnifies the same. Perfect close zoom at 100 yards. Shooting 17 HMR and the holes the size of a BBQ. So you need full zoom.So glad I purchased this!

it's a pretty decent scope for what you pay for. I bought it for sighting my rifles in at the range and I think it will work okay for that. It's a clear picture in my opinion. We had fun looking at things around us and trying out the phone attachment(which works pretty good if you follow the directions). The tripod is alright but I didn't want the small one, I have a better one on order Overall I think it's worth the money and I'm happy with my purchase.
