good unit for what you pay

it's a pretty decent scope for what you pay for. I bought it for sighting my rifles in at the range and I think it will work okay for that. It's a clear picture in my opinion. We had fun looking at things around us and trying out the phone attachment(which works pretty good if you follow the directions). The tripod is alright but I didn't want the small one, I have a better one on order Overall I think it's worth the money and I'm happy with my purchase.

I'm pretty sure that for the price it's the best option to buy. Svbony offers value for money that can hardly be seen in other similar products.My only drawbacks are really the tripod it has, which is basically useless. Do not hesitate for a moment to place the telescope on a more suitable camera tripod and the observation has become much more comfortable. And my other problem is with the focuser, it's too sensitive, which makes wanting to focus properly a rather frustrating process.I know that this telescope is not made for celestial observation, however with the right tripod I have been able to see Venus, Jupiter, the Moon and Mars. The views are good, but as I said before, you can notice the chromatic aberration, which is minimized when properly focused.

At first I was concerned about the sharpness and the zoom. When I brought it to the field it was plenty crisp to see the finer details of the “plumage”. We saw birds at 100yds, 200yds, 300 and 450yrds.Missing for me is the ability to adjust the eyepiece for my correction as well as the fine tuning focus option. Similar have both and that amount of control would be great but in the end, this worked well as the distances.The tripod is fine but not commercial photog grade. The iPhone holder take a bit of fumbling to get to work but with more patience - could be ok.Have fun.

When I took it to the shooting range, I found the spotting scope to be excellent. Images were bright and crisp at 50 and 100 yards. I did not require much more than 25X magnification at 100 yards in order to see holes in white paper against a white background in a snow-covered field. The SVBONY spotting scope is surprising light and made sighting in my buddy's AR a piece of cake. We only had to trudge through snow to the 100-yard line once to hang targets. I would imagine that the magnification would be adequate for target shooting to 250 or 300 yards. The tripod feels a little flimsy at first but is well designed and allows you to lock in rotation and elevation with authority. This spotting scope does not allow for the rotation of the body along the scope's axis, but this was not problematic in any way, and it was comfortable to view with from a seated position with the scope on a table in front of me. Overall, this is an excellent spotting scope for range use and would probably serve you well for birding or other observing as well. I did not have a chance to try the scope out in low light but may try to view the Orion Nebula in the coming days, if the weather improves. Buy with confidence.

This is overall a very great product. I used the smallest magnification for 25 yard zeroing and it was great. Do notice that it is much better to see through you own eyes rather than the camera z

The texture is better than I expected, and the size is surprisingly large. Installation is easy and convenient. The clarity is excellent. The matte texture is easy to hold.

This is my first spotting scope purchase. I found the 100 mm scope variant provided ample light resulting in very good clarity at max magnification. It does require fine tuning the focus any time you zoom in or out, which I think is true for any zooming scope.

This has made shooting, especially with friends, much more fun and easy. I don’t know how it compares to more expensive spotting scopes. But I love it. I also took it out to look at stars and the moon. Very cool. It was awkward to set up to look at the sky due to the angle of the lense. But doable.
